Tonight in London saw Honor launch the next phone in its Honor lineup, The Honor Holly. The Holly is a pretty nondescript device, with a 5" 720p screen, a quad core processor (of unnamed origin, though I'm pretty sure its a Snapdragon 400) 8mp BSI camera with an F2.0 aperture and its capable of 1080p video recording, it has a 2mp front facing camera and a 2000mAh battery, dual SIMs and an unannounced price. That price is the interesting bit, the Honor Holly doesn't actually have a price, in a similar vein to how Massdrop works, the more people that pre-order and give honor a price, the lower it will go, which is incredibly interesting, we have never seen a phone be priced this way, and I salute Honor for trying, we'll see how it goes. Honor is an interesting brand, they seem to be distancing themselves as far away as possible from Huawei, but the Honor Holly does seem like an interesting mid to low range device. More details to follow.
