well well well, havent we come along way in only 2 years microsoft ? i mean in october 2009 they showed us Windows mobile 6.5 which was made awesome by the HTC HD2, but then at MWC in barcelona in february we ggot teased what then , was known as windows phone 7 series (yeah i know a long name for an OS) and i will post some photos of how the original interface of WP7S looked and you will see how the design has majorly stayed the same , and thats not a bad thing because WP7 is sexy.
so very similar to WP7 of today, no ?
but what i'm glad Microsoft did was stardardise the colours of the tiles , instead of having a mash-up of coloured and black backgrounded ones that, in my opinion ruined the perfect, "Metro-UI" concept, because my favourite colour is the light blue on the black background , and if each tile were a different colour, its just an aesthetic thing ,i reckon i might not have bought one.
so that is a few things, but there are more minor ones, like originally the search button only did Bing, now it is context sensitive ,so for instance if you were in contacts you get a contact search instead of a rather useless Bing search, right on.
