**UPDATE** : full spec sheet at the bottom of page
A little while ago the Samsung Galaxy Z was leaked by a Swedish mobile phone network to be a slightly lower end version of its flagship smartphone the Galaxy S II, with a screen shrink of 0.1 inches, a 400MHz CPU drop to a 1GHz Dual-core NVidia Tegra II from a 1.2GHz Dual-core Exynos 4210 which is one of Sammy’s Home grown processors

GSMarena reports that in design cues Samsung have rounded the corners on the Z more, and there is a lot more metal on the Z so although it is heavier it feels a lot more substantial and somewhat premium, but with that you gain thickness so its not as paper-cut inducing as the Galaxy S II but its not that much thicker. also the home button is the same shape but has a different pattern which just makes it looks pretty sweet in my opinion

Galaxy Z left Galaxy S II right
Another thing to note is that the Galaxy Z doesn’t use Samsung’s super-awesome-mega-amazing Super-AMOLED+ screen tech it uses the lower end Super Clear LCD used nowadays on many smartphones as replacements for standard LCD’s, with the same WVGA (800x480) resolution so it may have a lower end screen tech but because its a smaller screen with the same resolution its actually got a higher pixel density.
a few more things the camera has been ever so slightly downgraded from 8MP to 5MP and so has the recording capabilities from 1080p full HD to 720P (half?) HD both still have front facing cameras thought the resolution of the Z’s is not disclosed (most likely a 1.3MP or if we are lucky a 2Mp like the S II), it has android 2.3 gingerbread with Samsung’s latest Touchwiz skin number 4, WiFi, GPS, FM Radio, 8GB internal memory and microSD card slot supporting up to 32GB are also included.
And Pocketnow.com have guessed that the Z might be coming to the UK this month as the R, withh no carrier information im going to guess either vodafone or o2, no reason they just seem to be the companies that get phones like this, vodafone is a major european MNO and are big everywhere (even Verizon in the states use Vodafone SIM cards on their Global roaming capable phones).
